An allergic reaction is simply an improper response of the immune system to an otherwise harmless substance such as foods, medications, pollens, flowers, grasses, dust and more.
The body reacts by releasing powerful chemicals that cause classic allergic symptoms such as watery and/or itchy eyes or nose, skin rashes, asthma, fatigue, headaches, insomnia, irritable bowel, mental symptoms such as anger or depression, and various pains that can present in almost any part of the body.
Many health problems can be attributed to undiagnosed allergic reactions or the lowering of the immune system due to multiple allergic reactions that allow disease to attack the weakened body.
Currently conventional medicine uses several methods for diagnosing allergies, including the scratch and RAST test. The standard treatment is drug therapy using either antihistamines or steroids to control the symptoms. A desensitisation program by injecting small amounts of the allergen on a regular basis to build immunity to the substance may also be used.
Unfortunately, these methods may not correct the underlying problem and often there can be undesirable side effects. NAET is truly a break through for allergy sufferers. It potentially treats at the source of the problem – an inappropriate immune response.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1454908037976{margin-top: 30px !important;margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1454908102496{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_empty_space height=”2px”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_custom_heading text=”What causes allergies?” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1454914714166{margin-bottom: 23px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”2158″ img_size=”medium” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]
